Parvati Valley Tourism – About Parvati Valley

Stretching from Bhuntar to the Pin Parvati Pass, Parvati Valley carves through the Kullu district, offering a progression from pine forests at lower altitudes to alpine meadows and finally barren passes touching Spiti Valley. The turquoise Parvati River, originating from the Man Talai Glacier, provides the valley's lifeline while creating a soundtrack for trekkers and backpackers drawn to villages like Kasol, Tosh, and Kheerganga. Natural hot springs bubble at Manikaran and Kheerganga, ancient temples hide in forests, and isolated hamlets like Malana maintain customs predating written history. The valley has become synonymous with alternative tourism, attracting those seeking mountains without polish, trails without crowds, and experiences rooted in raw Himalayan beauty.
